IDEA Tools

To aid in the retrieval of information from the RENCI Interaction Database for Experimental Analysis (IDEA), a set of tools have been developed to allow a user to query the database and to display the resultant interaction networks.

The current tools supplied are:

A tool for searching the database for the available homologues for a given set of genes.
A tool for creating a protein interaction network for a single species, or a derived interaction network based on another species.

The interaction network output is formatted to allow direct visualization of the network using Cytoscape.
